Hope an indispensable way out

As a human being, Allah has made us with many weaknesses and among them making sins is one. To remind ourselves, Allah has said in His holy book

 “Did I(Allah) not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan – [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy”[36:60]

  Satan is an enormous deceptive to a human being to torn his life after death and this life by turning away from Allah. And it is our inevitable weakness to remain always away from evil. So we are weak and unintended mistakes are committed but we must not let Satan to take control over us. Engaging in the remembrance of Allah will be a major preventive measure. To instil hope of forgiveness, we need to Glory the verses of Holy book and the teachings of Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) to be always willing in repenting.

  Hopelessness is one of the major way of deceiving. Satan takes us only through the anger of Almighty Allah but not His mercy. Even is mercy رحمة is more expanded than His Anger. The very first way out from regret is

    اعوذباالله من الشيطان رجيم

Because just these two lines teaches us many things.

1. Hate satan and Seek refuge in Allah

2. Allah is the most merciful

Satan is impure because of his devilish nature. So let’s embodying ourselves with the light of hope of forgiveness.

 As Quran is the holy book which guides us in one of the beautiful and simple manner. Allah says in الزمر 39:53

“Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”

  Four things can be drawn from the aforementioned verse .

1. Allah speaking to those who have transgressed

2. Don’t despair

3. Allah forgives all sins

4. Allah is the most merciful

The first, speaking to transgressed ones, shows Allah speaks to those being committed sins. This part should touch us very deeply and we must feel ashamed in turning away from the most high, the Almighty. Being self-sustaining ,He(the might) is speaking to sinners.

 Second, don’t despair, is the consolation of hope and way out from sins.

Third, pardoning all sins, implicates the chance of refrainment from major and minor sins.

 Fourth, most merciful, there is no one more merciful than Him . And if we think that there is somebody then we are doing كفر transgression because Mercy is one of His attributes.

Just a single verse shows the depth of His mercy, we can imagine the vastness in His love to His servants.

Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari( ra), the servant of the Messenger of Allah narrated: Messenger of Allah(saw) said, “Verily, Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His slave than a person who lost his camel in a desert land and then finds it (unexpectedly).”[Al-Bukhari And Muslim]

 

 In another version of Muslim, he said: “Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: ‘O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rubb.’ He commits this mistake out of extreme joy.”

 In the fore-mentioned ahadith , our Prophet Muhammad has mentioned a similitude for better explanation of the love of Allah.

 Allah is not yet satisfy while showing His mercy And so He further states in الفرقان

“Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful”.[25:70]

 It can be our wickedness and most infidelity if we lose all of these golden opportunities and ruin our both lives.

 The whispers of the outcasted one makes us to feel ashamed for seeking Forgiveness from Allah. But rather hesitating in repenting, we must feel proud and joy as it was the habit of Our beloved prophet Muhammad (saw) .

The honoured Muhammad (saw)  had a habit of repenting hundred times a day reported by Al-Aghar.

Allah commands us for seeking forgiveness. It is one of the powerful way of connecting to Allah. We must make a habit of seeking the pleasure of Allah by consistently supplicating for forgiveness.

May Allah forgive our all sins and give us paradise.
